All Volunteer programs commence & finish on Fridays, therefore you'll need to plan to arrive for this package on the Wednesday prior (at least!). If you have more time, we can book you additional accommodation - just ask! |

You should be reasonably fit, but more importantly you should be prepared to take part to the best of your ability.
CVA projects are usually labour-intensive, and take place in both urban and rural areas. You'll work in all weather conditions and need to bring appropriate clothing for the weather. |

As a CVA volunteer you are part of a team of 6 to 10 willing participants working together to conserve a part of Australia's unique habitat. As well as making a real difference to helping the environment it is a great way to make friends. The other volunteers on your team might be travellers, students, or locals who have lived in the area for years. |

What's Included?

* 4 weeks Conservation Experience: all meals, accommodation, project-related travel, CVA membership and CVA T-shirt! Accommodation varies by location, but could include caravans, hostels, or camping. Meals
are simple: cereals, sandwiches, roasts, or pasta, and all are expected to help with preparation and cleaning up. Please advise if you are vegetarian or have other dietary requirements
What to Bring?
You need to make sure you wear long sleeve shirt and trousers, wide brimmed sun hat and strong work boots when working. CVA recommends safety work boots with protective toe caps.
Also bring wet weather clothing, work gloves, sunscreen (high protection factor), camera, water bottle, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, mosquito net and toiletries.

You must arrive on a Wednesday. Project starts on Friday. If you would like additional accommodation before or after your project please note in your booking.

CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations have penalties as follows:
More than 30 days prior to arrival: 20%
30-14 days prior to arrival: 50%
Less than 14 days prior to arrival: 100% penalty (no refund).
