We start day at the Bass River Winery, located in a stunning location in the Gippsland hills with a wonderful range of gourmet produce and outstanding views. We have worked with a range of local producers to select the very best of the Gippsland region’s cheeses and other gourmet fare including olives, olive oil, honey, chutneys & cherries. At the winery, our customers will be guided through a tutored tasting of the local produce which will match the various cheeses and other produce with the locally produced wines. |

Our next stop, the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory has recently unveiled a magnificent new attraction designed to get chocoholics everywhere in a lather - Panny’s Amazing World of Chocolate. Using only the finest Belgian chocolate and ingredients, it has taken Panny over eight years to perfect the final product – and what a product it is! Be overwhelmed by the world’s largest chocolate waterfall or the newly renovated 4.8 metre chocolate village (complete with buildings, street houses and landscaping), the more artistically inclined will be awestruck in the Chocolate Art Gallery, which contains chocolate versions of some of the world’s better known artworks including a two metre chocolate statue of Michelangelo’s David, chocolate painted versions of Edward Munch’s The Scream and Sidney Nolans Ned Kelly, and a 12,000 piece mosaic of Dame Edna Everage.

|
We also visit the Koala Conservation Centre to meet some of the friendly locals. We’ll walk among the treetops and view and learn about the numerous wild koalas up close at this iconic wildlife attraction.
We take some time to explore the sights of Westernport Bay and Phillip island itself before making our way to Summerland Beach where, as dusk falls, it’s time for the stars of the show – the Little Penguins - to make their appearance and bedazzle you at close range as they make their way across the beach to their homes.
Time is allowed to explore the visitor centre and to shop for souvenirs before commencing the journey back to Melbourne.
